I agree with you. I’ve tried many times but can’t get in. The waiting list puts me off, because knowing me, I’d be spending money on Theme Everything and painting dolls like crazy, not being able to sell during that time, buying kits that I more than likely wouldn’t buy. Then end up not getting in. I’m not chancing it. Don’t have the money or time to spare and not be able to go.

I’ve learned to avoid the themes. I waste so much buying outfits and accessories for the themes. Then when that show is over I have useless stuff. So last year I decided to just decorate to match my logo. This is so much better. I can buy the right colors of clothes year round and I’m building a great stash of all sizes. When I get the urge to switch back to the show theme I just start looking again for the stuff to go with my logo. It’s easy to get my brain back on track. I may have a few dolls to go with the seasons time, perhaps a fairy for each season. And KDS is butterflies this year, so I may buy some silk butterflies to mix in on my table. But I’m adamant that those show themes need to be ignored as much as possible from now on. :see_no_evil:

I didn’t follow the theme when I vended nor did I buy any popular/new kits to paint. I just painted what I liked and had on hand and dressed them in vintage baby clothes that I’ve collected over the years. The 1st day I sold 9 dolls. Didn’t get to vend the 2nd day after getting deathly ill. So the dolls I had left I listed on Reborns and the show website & FB page and sold them all shortly after. Lots of people missed out on or couldn’t decide during the show look to purchase after.

I am doing that this year. I can’t figure out really what to do with this theme anyways.

SO here I am! I did not get my front right corner like I usually do. With this new floor plan I did not get a choice. My L table is turned the opposite way from what I am used to as well. I will be sitting outside the corner rather than inside it. Gonna have to figure how to best display.

Why can’t you be behind the table? Looks like there is room.

Yes, I can sit behind the point of the corner or on one of each of the sides of the L. In the past my table was turned such that I was sitting inside the inner angle of the table. So I had a table on my right and my left. Does that make sense?

Got it! I thought you meant you had to sit out in front of your tables.

You have a good spot. But yeah. That backwards L is a little weird. I’m interested to see how it works. You will definitely have lots of room behind the table. But the front may get crowded.

I’m at table 57. @RosieCait and @ellakabella are the other two in that little section of 3 tables.

I do have concerns about people being bunched up at my corner but we will see how it goes. Tables 37, 38 & 39 are a bit odd too. I assume all the black squares around the perimeter are doors?? If so quite a few are in front of a door. I asked and Bobbi confirmed that there is a stage at the back wall in front of the service hallway.

If the speakers at that stage are as loud as the ones last year I’m going to have a tantrum again. It was EARSPLITTING in our corner last year and I doubt I can turn down the volume myself again.

Edit: I’m dumb we aren’t by the stage

Did you see there’s a new show coming to California? They are taking vendor applications.
