Those of you with over 25 kits do my heart good! I usually reborn a baby in 2 weeks, but take a break between times so it would take me over a year to get through the ones I have in my kit stash. I have a few Bountiful Baby kits, but I am loving the LE kits so much more, that the BB have got a place of their own. One day, I will get to them too, but for now, I am trying to stay away from ordering any more kits.
Sorry - limited edition. The RealBorns are LE kits.
Pia, good luck with that!
I can picture my kids having an estate sale some day. Jokes on them.
Blissfulbabies, oh my gosh, itās so funny you would say that because Iām always picturing what will happen to my babies and art stuff after Iām gone and I imagine it all packed up and sent to a thrift shop where little children will pull the legs off my dolls LOL
I recently had to sell off my mothers things that family did not want. The lady had thousands (no kidding) of skeins of yarn. Iām still finding knitting parafanaila hidden in places. I guess Iām heading down that pathā¦itās the circle of life.
Kits and clothes. I need an intervention. Need a co-host for your party Kristi.
yeah. its bad.
omg i love it im jellous
love this, so organized!
Oh, you are so organized. I would love to be able to hand my baby clothes like that. I think itās not so much for the organization, though. I just like to look at them.
Can I come shopping at your houseā¦lol?
Yāall are so funny! I had to get it organized because I found that it was taking me hours to get a baby ready to ship because I couldnāt find anything! lol. Yes, micholc, please come shop here I am actually in the process of taking some photos to list some of my excess clothing and shoes for sale. Anyone need any 3 month size girls clothes? That will be the first group that I list.
Oh my goodness! I have less than 1/4 what you have and I am distressed about that. I sell most of my babies to The Doll House and they resell them through their website, so I donāt have to provide more than the outfit they are dressed in and a blanket. I will NEVER use all the clothing I have and I continue to shop! We are indeed a different breed altogether.
I go a ālittleā overboard with everything. It must be a sickness. My babies go home with a minimum of 2 complete outfits (with shoes, or booties if they have little feet), plus a sleeper, onesies, diapers, a blanket, paci, bottle, hair conditioner, brush/comb, hair accessories, a stuffed animal, and I am extremely bad about ordering personalized clothes for them. I was the same way though when I was teaching art - I made personalized art mats and aprons for each of my students and kept a treasure box full of things for them to choose an item to take home after class. My husband, bless his heart, just shakes his head. Iām sure a team of psychiatrists would have a field day with thisā¦but what the heck, it keeps me happy and out of trouble. lol
thats all that counts
On top of my 21 kits waiting for me, I LOVE baby bassinets, seats and such. Today, at a yard sale, I bought an adorable cradleā¦great for photos I reasoned to my husband. The deal was if I could talk the $85 price down to $50 and promised to sell the bassinet and another little cradle seat then I could do it. So, I made the deal. Iāll be putting some items up on Craigslist later today.
Hereās the new cradle with Abby demonstrating how comfy it is.
Gorgeous cradle!!! Is it a Jenny Lind? Abby is adorable. Looks like she is enjoying her new bed.
I want (need) your big teddy bear!! Where did you get him? Also, canāt wait to show my husband your nursery. He has no clue how bad it can get
Oh, noā¦most hubbyās have no idea until it is too late
I found the teddy bear at a thrift store for $5. Just had to have him. He makes an adorable photo prop.
