…order a kit and, when it arrived, you wanted to drop everything you’re working on and do the new one right now? I ordered BB Michelle when she was on sale. She wasn’t my all time favorite kit, but once I got her I had a vision of her that’s different from all the ones I’ve seen and I can’t wait to start her. I’m having the same problem with Happy Sage. I might paint them at the same time.
I’m pretty sure that’s how I obtained my kit hoard!
I can’t wait to see your Michelle. I was not happy with how mine turned out. I think she is a cute kit.
Can’t wait to see your vision of them! I wanted to drop everything when I got Gabriella Schick. But I am so behind on my family orders. She is where I can look at her everyday.
Yep and that’s why I have an entire bin of half finished babies
I totally understand cause I deal with that dilemma all the time (it’s why I have multiple kits partially started). When inspiration hits, sometimes you just have to go for it (as long as you’re not under any time constraints or doing custom work). I cannot wait to see what you do with her kit!
I have had a BB Michelle since she first released and she’s still in a box. She was just going to be a regular baby, so there was no rush in getting to her. Last night I came across an alternative version of her that I’m absolutely inspired by…never thought about her in an alternative light. Now I can’t wait to paint her cause I finally have a clear idea for her. Except in my case, I have physical constraints at this time…she’s way too big to handle in my current condition.
Most definitely. Sometimes I restrain myself sometimes I don’t
That happened with me with “Twin B” lol, it’s my first time painting this kit (I know I’m super late lol) but as soon as I received the kit, I started on her right away…she’s such a beautiful kit
You’re definitely not alone on finally painting one of the Twins. I hope you’ll share photos when done @vcasborn .
I just recently bought myself a Twin A and it will be my first time painting either one of the twins myself. In person her mouth doesn’t look as gaping wide as it seems in photos. lol
Guess who has had her bath! 42 inch Gabriella Schick. I am so excited, intimidated and nervous. She is going to be the head honcho in my Craft Room. I have no idea if she is going to be Realistic or an Alternative. I hope to make Reva and her family proud of what ever she turns out to be. I did not inspect her for her color when I got her and her legs are different. But that is ok, it will be alright in the end. I like imperfection. Her eyes are on order, and I need to find some cute clothes.

I wish myself luck.

Excited for you!
I wish you luck, too. Shopping for her will be so much fun!
Thanks @kareninflorida I have been wanting her, to paint her for a very long time. @jeanhai How did you know I was looking at clothes, lol. I need to be looking at hair. I am going to root her even though I know my hands will hurt and it will take a long time.
She’s going to be amazing whatever you do with her! Keep us updated!
Oh sweet!!! I want one of these so bad!
@ZeldaDawn I will for sure
@Miss_Kitty what would you do with her? I’m thinking Goth. I have been wanting to do a Goth doll for a long time or steampunk or both in one.
OMG I don’t know! It is such a cool and different kit. I love ball-jointed Barbie-sized dollies so much. And those can totally be realistic or alternative. It’s so fun! If I had one in front of me right now this second, I think I would do realistic, but with some really neat alt eyes. Goth sounds super rad, too!!!
I didn’t think to get some weird eyes, lol!
She is almost finished. I choose not to root her and will explain when I post her.
I’m finally working on Happy Sage and Michelle. Sage needs varnish and hair. I’m liking how she’s turning out. I’m not sure how I want to do her hair. I’ve just started Michelle’s paint. I think I’m going to wig her.
