Designs?

Yes you can Tattoo Vinyl if that was the question haha. I have a tummy plate here that has been a test part for a tattoo

Looks good but it seems as if the ink has spread to the rest of the vinyl??

It was shaded that way!

Oh haha that makes more sense! Did you hand paint it?

I did not do it, I bought it as test parts there were lots of tatted parts in the box some hello kitty, hearts, stars all kinds of things I thought they were neat and have tried to strip the parts but so far had no luck haha.

I actually have a belly plate here that I was planning on making into part of a brace to simulate the baby having scoliosis… then my daughter decided she wanted a full torso baby instead and wants little Max.

Anyways I may have my Sister draw a rose out on the belly plate and practice ideas

okay… so I was getting ready to get the belly plate out to start on it… then thought… "wait how will I poke a needle through a flat piece of vinyl?"
It would need something under it that wouldnt mind getting poked and painted… lol. So now I think I will practice on a leg. lol
I already grabbed the fairy kit

For the belly plates I mark where I want the holes and then use a heated awl to make them.

I was going to see if I can ā€œtattooā€ it with paint and a rooting needle… but a flat surface (belly plate) to practice on doesnt seem the right choice.

My brain is having a hard time picturing the poor baby getting stuck over and over. It was bad enough learning to root! It just sounds so much easier to paint it on with acrylic paint…or even Genesis. Just not informed enough to know where that ink goes. As for ink getting on a doll, yep, it comes off the paper onto the doll if you print it off at home. And that ink is still there even after creams and lights and scrubbing. Unfortunately, it is on the doll that started me into the downward spiral to reborning. The doll with the old fashioned kind of doll hair. A doll like I had as a kid only with dark hair. The one that just didn’t hit that love spot. Since then I have made and sold keepers and others. Right now I can’t picture tattooing one but who knows!!!

I know it is an odd (not common) thing to do…
I am using a fairy kit (Clover), I got on sale, and it is for my older Sister who has drawn roses all through her life. I thought it would be neat to have her draw it out and put it on the Fairy as a tattoo, like the one she drew and has on her ankle that she got done when she was a Senior in high school
Her Birthday is the 14th. She is my rock, my foundation, and very supportive. We’ve been through Hell and back and grew stronger as we aged.
