Here’s the story of how my Christmas Baby Challenge baby came to be and met her new mommy…
I have an aunt with early onset alzheimer’s. She was diagnosed 5 yrs ago in her early 60s. She loves the babies I have made and always said she wanted one. Her daughter asked me to do the Kate sculpt for her, as it had long been her favorite. I finished in time for the Christmas challenge and entered her. I delivered her on thanksgiving and my aunt is overjoyed. She named her Jesse and loves her to death. Here is Jesse and mommy at their 1st meeting.
How sweet of you to make you’re Aunt a baby.
My aunt works at the adult care center in our local hospital and I made them a baby, she said they all the the baby including some of the men.
Very nice picture of them … she holds her very carefully …so this is when you put your hearth in a baby creating them then …you see it is so much worth it .
What a lovely picture with your aunt. She reminds me of an elderly intellectually impaired patient that I had, who had a “baby” that she lovingly dressed each day and took it with her everywhere. That was a wonderful gift of such a cute baby.
