I have a bit of a dilemma.a couple of months ago there was someone on here selling a kit because she needed money. It was a limited edition kit and she really didn’t want to give it up. I suggested that she send me the kit and I would lend her the money and hold the kit for her until she got her tax refund. She was very happy with that. She PMd me when her refund came and asked me if I wanted to swap back. I told her the amount owed me, including shipping, and haven’t heard from her since. E-mailed or PMd her 3 times. I know I can sell the kit or reborn it and sell the doll but I’d kind of like to just get my money back. So, am I a schmuck or what? I’m feeling a bit betrayed.

Yeah, I would think the agreement would be kept. That kinda sucks too.
How long have you been trying to contact her? Maybe she hasnt logged in? It sounds rather crappy though. I hate when generosity is taken for granted.

I haven’t seen her on here in awhile but also e-mailed her. When she asked if I was ready to swap back I kind of thought she’d look for an answer.

She did PM me finally. Said she’s been sick, and in and out of the hospital and out of work. I told her I’d hold it until payday but then it’s mine. It’s Natalie by Tamie Yarie

Here’s the way I feel about things like this. You did her a kindness. Bless you for that. If you don’t hear from her, reborn the kit and make some money…lesson learned. Don’t let yourself be bitter. That would just steal the joy you had in being able to help her out.

Oh, I’m not bitter. I really wanted to help her out. I know how it is to be attached to a particular kit. However, i do need my money back.
