Has anyone tried to modify a standard body, gather the chest or tush, or just streamline it a bit? I have standard bodies but they seem a bit shapeless to me. I’ve considered ordering a different body but I’m trying to save a little money.

I have altered the BB bodies since I don’t like how wide the top is which makes them too wide. I take out the thread on the casing then take in the back and front seams. I then sew the casing back together. I also sew elastic on the little tush to make it gather in the crease. You can also do a gathering stitch instead of the elastic.
