Has anyone used a 3/4 arm and full leg body for these toddlers? Do you think their legs are long enough to accept this type of body?

My guess would be no. I put Cookie on a Libby body, which suits her better than the big barrel chested ones, but the leg caps a re shorter, and I find that even this way the legs are just a hair too short, A full leg body would make the 9 month olds way too short IMO…
I sort of experimented with a pattern. I think if Chelle’s pattern design comes in the toddler size, I think it would work. Perhaps check with Carmen to see if she has this particular pattern in toddler size.
What about the A. Stoete body for a 24-25" doll. 3/4 arms with full leg (cap) leg??
Judy
Judy, I just went and looked at that body. I think it would work fine. The only thing I would suggest is that you have someone measure around the leg cap to be sure it fits the toddler legs. The Rubert toddler legs are rather chubby at the top and you want to make sure it fits.
Oh yeah - you are absolutely right, Kim. I never thought about that. Thank you. I would love to be able to use that body. I hate the look of those wide hips.
Judy
Me, too. I hate the wide hips on any of the babies. The toddlers are so much bigger so the hips then seem so big. I use Chelle’s pattern for mine and love it. The legs are attached in the front. I just sent her a message to see what styles she has for the toddlers. Hopefully she has something that is better than hipsters!
I used the BB body on mine as I like the movement that you get with 3/4 legs and found the dolls with the bigger thighs don’t move well in full limbed type bodies for my preferences. I did end up tapering the BB body by taking in the chest and back seams to make it less barrel chested so that it looked much better on my Cuddles.
