Blonde painted hair?

II was wondering if any of you have suggestion on what colors to use for blonde painted hair? I think I may have found the best 2 tools to get great lines with. Gonna try for a 2nd time an if it comes out as good as the last I will share. I’m thinking maybe the first time I did the painted hair with them it came out so good an that’s hard for me. So hoping I found something finally that will give that 3D look  an the first time wasn’t just luck lol I have only used brown an blacks an I only did painted hair a few times but I have a customer who wants her baby to have a Mohawk an painted hair on the sides lol this should be fun lol

Wish I could help but unfortunately I can’t cause I don’t know. I think the blonde is really hard to make look real by getting the color right. I’ll watch this to see if anyone can give you some good tips. Good Luck!

I did blonde a couple of times some ladies here suggested to use nail tip and yellow ochre and it made a great color! Some said straight nail tip for a more white/blonde baby. I was happy and my customer was really happy with the blonde. I can’t remember the exact measurements I used but I know I mixed nail tip and yellow ochre

I mix my own blonde by using titanium white and add a tiny tiny bit of brow brown and then add an even smaller bit of yellow

Ok ladies I didn’t have time this week to try the tools I bought but I’m gonna do Asher’s painted blonde hair tonight an I will post pics an tell me what you think. But here are the tools I used on the last baby. Like I said I may have just got lucky the first time. I gave that baby to a friend an I can’t even get her to send me pictures of his painted hair lol she keeps saying ok I will send them in a little while an she forgets about me lol

one is a bamboo calligraphy pen and the other a really small brush At the end worked good for the wispy hair in the front. I bought off of eBay I’m not sure what they’re called I will have to go back an look

What I’ve read and tried with experimenting is that even with light blonde hair, it’s good to have a shaded undertone color. This will give more depth or three dimensional appearance to the skin. I experimented with some blonde highlights on Leelou and used titanium white, yellow ochre, and a tiny bit of burnt umber and ultramarine blue. I am going to try the Nail Tips and yellow ochre next time.

One key to blonde painted hair is to do undertones darker. Your last layers are highlights. Dark hair is usually the opposite…

I used white, flesh and yellow on Saskia. It’s hard to
Tell in her pics but there are different shades.
