I’m trying to resist the urge to paint just any old kit that strikes my fancy and pick some that might sell for Christmas. I have Elijah Kazmierczak and Macie Brace here. Neither of them are begging to be painted at the moment, but do they sell well?
As scary as I can get it to look, lol. Not bloody just ugly. I should be able to make it pretty fast. It may be scary to people that prefer pretty and realistic, to us it will look too nice as I do scary, but nice scary, lol.
I’d love to see what you do with it. I’m a Harry Potter fan and love house elves as much as the next guy but I find that kit intimidating. The artists who are brave enough to tackle it always do such interesting and creative things!
My Macie has been sitting for nearly 2 months. Mine is just a cuddle baby. But she does have a Reggie body. Maybe I should finish her limbs and try again. But nobody wants her as a cuddle baby.
She’s a cutie. Sometimes you just wonder what buyers are thinking. I went with Willa instead of Macie. I really hate Willa’s arms but I want dark skin and rooted hair for Macie and it seems like too much to tackle right now. I also prepped Elijah since his head is small and soft. Hoping he’ll be a quick root job. I pulled out my Flynn (@AnnieSokay) and my partially painted Felicia cuddle head too. All of these boogers will probably go right into the closet as soon as Serena and Jordis ship. I’m not sure why I even bothered!
@ZeldaDawn I am done with Tinky just trying to figure out how to make it stand and it needs some clothes. @YelenaRey you became the Tinky master, I hope it passes your liking. I know not to put glass beads in the head. But I am going to put some in the feet. Not sure about the hands and body.
I did not want to paint Tinky - but fell in love, the kit was a dream to paint. I think it painted itself, lol.
