Best Christmas ever!

Well, in a long time anyway! First let me wish you all a very Happy New Year. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah , Kwanza, Navidad, whatever you celebrated I wish you the best! It has been a very hectic 2 years to say the least, but I’m finally settled in my new home! Anyone live near the White Post, Winchester or Stephen city area in VA ?
At first I was terribly homesick and missing my friends so much. It’s getting better but I guess I’ll always miss my friends.
Around the second week in December I received a package in the mail from my wonderful friend Emily with the strictest of instructions not to open until Christmas ( ) , well , I promised so I couldn’t but…what to do for 2 whole weeks?
Emily shared her newest project and suggested I try it to keep me busy. Oh my gosh! What fun we had!!! I trolled YouTube for some DIY videos and this was my result :

Then it was finally Christmas and I got to open that box! Look who was inside!!

How sweet that baby is beautiful and the snow people are darling.

Very cute!

I have made sock snowmen before but a mouse got them… Thankfully we have no mouse now. lol

But I haven’t remade any snowmen. I also saw sock gnomes this year that I think are cute as well.
