Does the way BB does sales give anyone else anxiety? I never know when to pull the trigger, I can never seem to get the combo of kits I want on sale at the same time. Right now 3 I want are on sale and of course I won’t have the funds till Friday when I’m sure they will no longer be on sale.
Once you get more into it. You will just grab one here and there. I rarely get more than one in an order.
But I have like 15 here already lol
I feel your pain. I constantly go back and forth. Babies jump in and out of my cart. I spend half of my time second guessing as to weather or not I want the kit, let alone need it. Nor do I have anymore kit storage space! Then I usually don’t buy anything because I’m too indecisive.
I see 3 on sale right now that I’ve had my eye on. What are you going to do?
If they are still on sale tomorrow, order them clicking money order to pay then mail a money order on Friday.
I never knew that was an option!
Yes. You print off the order and send in with your payment. I’ve had to order that way when funds were in the wrong place and I knew I couldn’t get transferred fast enough.
95% of the time, I pay via PayPal. I click on buy now, pay later. So it comes out of my checking account that is linked with PayPal. It gives you 2 weeks. It will email you a reminder a couple days before n the day it’s coming out.
Wow that is awesome. Why haven’t I known about this until now?!
I didn’t realize you could do that, that’s awesome. Of course one is already gone off the sale page.
Don’t worry BB has sales throughout the year. Don’t get in debt I promise your babies will come on sale again or maybe they are on sale now .
I didn’t realize you could do that.
Me either and It’s probably bad that I learned that technique; it may get me in trouble, lol
Thanks for sharing…I think. Hehe
You welcome. Lol
Oh great I didn’t need to hear those options. I just loathe credit cards and owing or making someone wait. I never buy without going to paypal directly and hitting pay immediately. Not saying i never used credit cards, got a balance on one from a trip and xmas but It seemed to go up instead of down. So, no more of that.
Some dolls are “always” on sale, some are “never” on sale.
If it is one that is always (or often) on sale then don’t stress, it will be on sale some time next month and you can always get it then.
Example: Thomas Awake, Clyde, and Aspen
Some are “never” on sale. For example Summer Rain. Even when she was on sale it was only for about 10 minutes. She went off sale between me clicking her and checking out (no shopping in between, maybe 5 seconds).
I see her on sale maybe once every 6 months.
There for I would snag her up.
That is what is so frustrating too. Most places if you put it in your cart you are safe for at least an hour while you get the rest of the stuff you need in the cart. With BB it will just go off sale in your cart and since shipping is not free I want to get all my stuff in one order.
Yeah, I remember that one day on Halloween I saw Summer rain on sale (which had stopped being on sale last time I tried to get her between putting her in my cart and checking out.
So I left her in my cart along with her body and I stuff I needed… And checked my total 3 or 4 times a day to see if she was on sale to quickly hit buy.)
So when the total in my cart had gone down I hurried and got her and checked out immediately!!!
…Then I breathed a sigh cuz I finally got her…
THEN I saw all the realborns were on sale!! There were a lot I wanted- like a seconds of Charles for 17 dollars!!! And I had been considering Reese and Ashley…
But I had already clicked buy and didn’t want to waste extra shipping ?you know they always warn you about how you can’t add to an order after the fact… And I don’t know how I would try to do that anyway…
I decided I would email or call in the AM to see if shipping could be combined… and if so I would get some of those seconds on half off! But by then Charles was sold out.
I have often regretted being so trigger-happy to click “buy” that I didn’t look first or I would have gotten a few more kits that day. It’s a major flaw in the system.
I ended up getting 2 of the 3 kits I wanted. I bought Elliot and Grant to make boy/girl twins for my daughter. I wanted Jesse but not only was she not on sale anymore she was out of stock again. I ended up getting Harper boy because my daughter prefers boy dolls and has been wanting a full body doll. I should be buying kits to make and sell since my daughter has more than enough dolls but I just can’t help myself. I love to make my kids happy what can I say.
