Authentic Reborn paints? flesh

Has anyone used the flesh colors of AR paints? When I used GHSP, I used the blushes and lip colors fairly often but never used the flesh. Anyone use it? And do you use the flesh right out of the jar? What about for mottling? It’s just so thick. I am used to flesh and mottles being like water colors.

No help here. I use GHSP flesh 08 as a base. I thin it down with odorless paint thinner.

I use air dry but have run out of thinner. I NEED to paint and have these AR paints I got in a lot. Maybe I will survive until I get more thinner in. :cold_sweat:

The only one I use right out of the jar is the AR light flesh foundation. But I pounce it on with a wedge dipped in thinners still. You don’t have to thin the AR paints but you can if you want to, I do when using most of the colors and flesh colors.

The AR paints are GHS pre-thinned, but I’m guessing they use thinning medium to thin them because I find them very thick. I have to thin them with odorless thinner or like some have said they are chalky and/or dirty. I find they are too thick and hard to make them look translucent, like on lips, if not thinned more. I don’t use them a whole lot. They are pricey.

I just bought several colors in the AR paints and was wondering about thinning them as they do seem thick. Thanks to the comments from those of you who are familiar with them. Have any of you used the mottling colors in this line?

I have decided to sell or trade my AR paints. I am not going to use them. I like my air dry too much AND my halogen oven died on me. Going to take pictures and will post in sale/trade if anyone is interested.

I forgot to mention that stirring the AR paints with a toothpick before using them may also help loosen them up a little.
