What specifically could I use to get the proportions right do you have any special tools if so what do you use and how do you use it. Also what clay is best for this and do you use gloves when sculpting to stop finger prints?

Google has many baby’s proportions charts. Look at a lot of pictures.
I use Living Doll and super sculptey. I don’t use gloves but smooth it all at the end.
