Has anyone reborned Holly? I have never really paid too much attention to her but I think she is really cute. Has anyone done her and do you have any pictures you could post? How was she to reborn, paint, root etc. any infor would be much appreciated.
I did her as one of my first dolls. I don’t have pictures on this computer. Be sure and seal the kit with matte or satin varnish because Holly’s limbs tend to get shiny if you don’t. She’s an easy kit and comes out cute. I don’t like the suggested body as it is just too loose limbed so I would play around with body choices for her.
Thanks so much Helen. I really DON’T need any more kits right now, but, you know how it is when something catches your eye!!
I sure do. Just this morning I fell in love with Harper Arcello and of course she is long sold out. I’ll probably have to pine for her forever.
That stinks when you see one you may never get to own. I paid a lot of money (for me anyway) for a Miracle kit that I just had to have. Wouldn’t ya know it, I didn’t need it when I could have ordered her-----after she was gone I decided I couldn’t live without her. So some nice lady sold the kit to me and I am waiting till I get better to reborn her as she will definitely be a keeper.
I always think I’m going to keep them, but then another one comes up that I want to buy and so I sell the first one so I can afford it.
Lynn, you need a picture avatar! We need to see your smiling face.
Honestly, I don’t have any pictures of me for more years than I can count. Maybe I can find one somewhere. You will definitely get to meet me in Utah though, can’t wait for that one!!
I can’t wait either. (for Utah)
The thing about the avatars is we kind of bond with faces and since I think of you as one of my friends on here, I want a face to go with my idea of you. I’m sure I’m not alone in that. Just get somebody to take a p(icture of you. Mine is actually quite old. I have gained back the thirty pounds I had lost in that picture, but I like it so I used it. I still look sort of like that, just older and fatter, LOL.
I certainly understand “older and fatter” why does that happen to us???
I second it about the photo…would love to see your lovely face too…Love all your post so would love to see you too.
Ok guys, I’ll try to get that done. Thanks for your kindness.
Lololol Lynn! You have a new job! Get to work!!!
OK !! I’ll get on it.
She is really cute!! That’s what I was concerned about------the “dollyness” of her. Thanks for the picture, it helps.
@anon72659292 cute little one x Yours looks much more realistic than mine came out.
@lynn I did Holly last year and she came out quite dolly. It was also my first attempt at rooting human hair. I gave her Sweetpea limbs.

After seeing everyones Holly’s, I think I’m going to reconsider, I agree with all of you------she does look “dolly”-----although everyone did a very nice job, Thank you all so much for taking the time to post your pictures, I really appreciate it.
The Holly kit makes me think of Alora Dannan the baby on Willow. If I were to ever reborn her that is what I would make her look like with the red curly hair.
I remembered I had this picture on my pinterest. I think Jasper (Holly) was my third baby ever. I did him as a toddler although he’s really much too small for that.
Love him Helen!
He looks really cute, maybe making him look like a toddler is the very ticket!!!
