Ok, first off, I LOVE realborns, i think they are a great idea and im I’m glad that they are expanding, but so far out of all the new realborns we have 1 coming that has open eyes, which whatever, it’s a little irritating but not horrible, my problem is…they all look the same! I can’t even tell the difference between some of them, the faces mostly look the same, the hands and feet may be different, but if you put some of them in a line, i couldn’t tell who’s who. So anyone else feel this way? Or is it just me? Any other complaints you have with the new ones?

Personally, I’m not! I love them. Honestly…I prefer the newer Realborns over some of the newer kits being released. Also, I think the sleeping versions of them are released first then awake versions.

Nope… I LOVE Ashley, Brittany, London, Charles and Clyde asleep … Each has their own special little nuances… And…They are a pleasure to paint and root… Plus, realborns have always been good sellers for me…JMO

I love them! I really like the recent ones and the newer ones soon to release.
I love Miranda and saw an awake version a few days ago! EEEK!
And Landon is such a ham! 
Seeing the prototypes at ROSE made me want to pick him up! LOL
Oh and Jaxon looks cute! And Ashley is cute and tiny. And Evelyn looks cute.
Anyways… each have their own personality once you see them in person. Sure some look related but many people search for kits who could be siblings… so that works well in that case!

I agree, they do look very similar. I would like to see a full lip baby myself. That is why I like Miranda.

i love the realborns. I think they looks so much alike because they are related. I would like to see more awake ones. I wish i had dolly dollars and i didnt have so many kits stock piled. Hummm maybe i should let go of a few and get the newer ones lol

I also love the realborns, can’t get tired of them. Bonus for me is that I like sleeping babies, but I can see how artists who like awake babies would be disappointed- you all have to wait.

I like the Realborns more than I do most of the limited editions coming out right now. Some do resemble, I assume babies from the same families maybe? I am only overwhelmed because I’m broke. 
I would like to see more of them awake.

So the reason they all look similar is because the real babies are all pretty much related by blood or marriage. They all pretty much have the same set of genes inside their DNA, which causes similar features. I am tired of the creasing process, but I’m not tired of the kits in general. I’ve gotten the most compliments on them out of all the babies I’ve made.
I think the reason they put out sleeping ones first is because they take the first set of photos when they’re just days old–so they’re still sleeping most of the day. Then they take another set of photos, just of the face, when the baby is a bit older to capture the awake version.
I would love to see some of the older BB kids made into realborns (like toddler size or 3 year old size), but man that would be a pain in the tushie to root!
