I love the new Anatasia and Denver Rose kits. The only thing I don’t like is the open toes on both feet of Denver Rose, I like open toes but all toes apart doesn’t look right. I’d love to do them but I have decided to end my reborning, just 12 months after starting. I have made the last few for my own collection including my recent Penelope and I have one more I’ve started on which is the Kase Awake.
Who else is loving those 2 new kits?
I’m so sad to hear you’ll be stopping reborning. I had no idea you’d only been reborning for a year! You’re so talented! I hope this doesn’t mean you’ll be leaving the forum too…?
So sorry to hear you are going to give up reborning. Your babies are wonderful, I am glad that you got to make some for yourself and maybe you’ll decide to come back one day. Good Luck.

Thank you all. I will keep an eye on the art of course. I have to admit I am tempted as I just love those 2 sculpts but I only started it July last year to see if I could as a personal challenge. I had no training and had never even spoken to anyone associated with reborning until after I created my first. I have also been battling with pain in my arms the last couple of months so I had to take micro rooting Penelope slowly, though her hair is my best yet, not so much the rooting but the style. I found selling them difficult and and I did have an Ebay template made up, the one time I used it I had a non paying bidder. That was for my Tavi kit I named Tommy. I have learned heaps in the last few months even more recently. This forum is very useful for tips as well. I think it’s a continual learning process. It has been a real joy when I have sold my bubs and the reaction and lovely comments from the new mummy really is uplifting and gratifying.

Sorry to hear that you are leaving - to answer your question about the kits. I have 3 Anastasias on order and Marita is going to give me a Denver Rose as a “thank you” for me letting her take my Skye with her to ROSE so obviously, I LOVE both of the kits!

Wow lucky. I love Marita’s sculpts I’ve done a few of them. It’s sad being way down under I can’t get to any of those shows and it costs so much to get supplies here in NZ.

Are you stopping because of the pain in your arms? Or are you on to other challenges?
The in the arms is a worry, also money is tight. To be honest I’m not sure, maybe I’ll just have a break. I would like to keep going when I see those lovely kits.

I still have 1 kit to finish, I have a Kase Awake.
I’m still waiting for my supplier to get home so I can get the last of my supplies so I can put Penelope together. It’s so frustrating as she’s all finished now and she’s lying on the bed and I just want to be able to pick her up and show her off. It’ll probably be a week before I can get some glass beads to put her together argh.
