An artist in our community has left us

The Norwegian German, (Kristen) Schröder Konaté left us for where ever it is that strong, smart, honest, brave, generous, and talented artists go.

If you didn’t get a chance to know her (and I almost didn’t) you missed out on a very interesting and amazing human.

She passed from complications of COVID, she had an auto immune issue that created a terrible storm.

She was young, beautiful, loved her husband and her kids and was a loved by a whole lot of people.

I am gutted.

If you feel moved to pray, meditate, or light a candle for her and her family this is the time, they need to feel the love.

She is going to arrive on the other side a little pissed I think, she fought like hell, she will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear this. Praying for strength for all who loved her. I am battling autoimmune issues too and am trying to be very careful. I had to stop working in Oct.

She was a formally trained artist, she drew, painted, and did some sculpting. She made unique Ethic dolls that she sold and donated the proceeds to special needs kids and to a reading program.

She was a member of the reborn community, she was very honest about art, life, creating, and giving back.

She had a wicked sense of humor and a very strong personality.

She is the kinda person you could trust to give you the raw truth.

I remember coming across her work and asking you, “who is this?” I had mixed feelings about her at first, had no idea I would end up stalking her (well not really). I messaged her one day and told her we had to be friends, I just loved her energy and attitude.
