Just got my .25 oz of Honey Blonde from @Rainbowbabies and I’m SO happy! It’s super soft and I can’t wait to use it! The sample of Adult hair was awesome too! I recommend buying from her if you need mohair, and I will absolutely be buying all my hair from her now
I just got some from her, too. It’s shiny, silky soft and straight, not straight/wavy. I haven’t rooted with it yet because I’m still painting but I’m anxious to try it.
That looks really pretty!
I know! I can’t wait to use mine too, but bubba is still on preorder! Dying to use it though, my kit should be shipping soon.
I’ll be buying some mohair from her… She made a batch of a beautiful bluish/purplish hair. The batch she made isn’t quite enough for my demon im making so she is making another batch for me to purchase !! she is so sweet and kind and im looking forward to buying from her
Thanks so much, all of you! You are so nice I’m really enjoying making this hair, and I’m so glad you like it! I just finished a bunch more last night and I’m about to share photos with people who have been on a waiting list. Yours is next on my list, @melcurll!
I’m excited to have just gotten my first shipment of suri alpaca too. I have not used it yet, but it is incredibly soft, the thickness of kid, and completely straight. Stay tuned!
@Rainbowbabies, may I ask approximately how long the hair is? The blonde that @MilosMeadows is showing a picture of looks pretty short?? Is all your hair this length?? Thanks in advance.
Hi @lynn This is the one I sent to @MilosMeadows:
It’s one of the shorter varieties I have. The straight/slightly wavy adult averages 8", and I have other types between those two lengths. I have a few different fleeces in each category (kid/yearling/adult) so there’s probably something that would suit most everyone’s needs Benefit of shorter hair is that you get more individual hairs by weight, but of course if you had longer hair you could always cut it in half.
Thank You so much @Rainbowbabies, it’s good to know all this info since we are always looking for great mohair!! I will be keeping you in mind from now on, I appreciate you letting me know all the different hairs that you can get.
