Always a bit sad

I’m always a bit sad when all the topics are read and answered and I still have coffee in my cup! Good morning dear friends. Have a happy and productive Wednesday.

Just got back from grocery shopping. I like to go early before there is a lot of people out and about. Have a wonderful Wednesday, Helen.

How do you manage to read all the posts? I can’t cover them all and end up picking one here and there and often miss stuff I wish I’d read. I don’t think my stomach could handle enough coffee to read them all.

Generally I respond to any responses I get first, then use a bit more time to look at the new stuff, then perhaps the “Latest” category, then forum by forum if possible, but I don’t think I’ve ever read everything. Please, if you have a special method that makes it easier, let me know. Not to brag, but I read pretty quickly and I still can’t keep up. Of course, I occasionally have a day where I can’t go on the forums at all, and some days it’s only a short time. So what’s your secret? Do you mean you only read the “New” section, or do you read “Latest” only, or both? Or do you go from forum to forum and read the new ones and ones with new posts? HEEEEEELP PLLLLLEEEEASSSE!!! I’d love to keep up!

I can’t get to them all, either, Bebe! First, I look at all the responses to my posts then I look at the Unread list and check out any that I need to and “Dismiss” remaining ones. I then read all the New posts. I’d love to read all the chatter but, lately, there’s so much activity that I just don’t have time to read everything.

@bebe My secret is that I’m retired and I can sit here as long as I want to LOL!

I just go to unread and new…that is probably why I miss some I think… :unamused:
I know, it’s weird, isn’t it? You’d think if you covered the new and the unread you’d get everything but occasionally I go into a forum and realize there are some there that weren’t on the lists. Strange??
That’s funny! I’m a stay at home mom but lately it’s been hectic. Lots of doctors appointments, school visits and applications (son is going to grade 7 next year, high school for us) as well as family stuff.

@AmyR777 Amy, there are 294 posts in my unread one. Just to give you an idea. I guess I need to hit the dismiss button, too. I’ve never done it for fear of missing something.

Yeah, I don’t like doing it, but the next time someone replies, it’ll show up in the Unread list again.
