I believe China has a backdoor to FB. My FB account has been hacked at least twice by them, per FB letting me know. One of the times they did it, they were able to get into our router and change something in it. They stole my email address and used it to send out thousands of spam emails to people all over the world. It was very creepy. So, I believe they troll FB for pictures of whatever they want to purport to sell. I think have professional trollers who do this as a full-time job.
My theory is that someone inside the legit factories are supplying the counterfeiters with the molds, somehow.
It’s pretty easy for them to steal from Reborns since Dave won’t allow watermarks on photos. Just so dumb. Seems more of these stolen pics were on Reborns.
But there is no mold for LouLou awake. She is still being sculpted by Joanna. They took Joanna’s picture and used it to alter the eyes on the sleeping LouLou kit. If they can sculpt so well that they can recreate a picture, they need to be sculpting their own kits.
There are a million fakes on Mercari. I’ve been blocked by multiple for calling em out. Alot even state “unbranded, no brand, replica, cheap version etc”
There are more and more kits popping up on Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, wish etc. And it’s no longer just HSA kits, they’re taking BB kits, cheaper kits, sole kits … How are they getting their hands on some of these long sold out kits? Amazon has fake Indies by LLE now. Wish had miracle LLE, Robin Johnston, and several more than that have been sold out for years. More and more groups popping up on FB just for those who support fakes. They’ve started coming into real groups to advertise for those " can’t afford a real reborn and deserve a nice doll to"
Some are even selling their fakes for more than I’ve seen real ones sell for. For those that knowingly buy them, they’re killing this community because they care more about the $$$ in their pocket than those whose hard work they stole. If it was THEIR creations being ripped off, they’d be the same ones screaming something needs to be done. So many have a “me me me” selfish entitlement it makes me sick.
Have the Chinese changed their tactics, making mostly the doll kits rather than the ugly, distorted “finished” dolls. If their making both are the painted dolls better than the horrible ones that we saw early this year and last year. In other words are folks still receiving those horrible ugly messes and not complaining like they were? If they have hired painters that seems like it makes it even worse for artists with integrity.

I think they may just be using Google for pictures. If you type in Realborn June Awake 7 Months, my listing from reborns.com with that image comes up very early in the search results.
What’s sad is im finding SEVERAL who within reborn groups scream how much they hate knock offs, won’t use fakes, ruining the community etc while on other platforms like Mercari proudly selling fakes. Because you don’t have to use your real name on Mercari but alot are posting their nursery names which leads to finding in groups. It’s utterly atrocious and disgusting entitled behavior
I think that is the only way to get it removed. I looked into it and they wanted me to not only prove that the images were mine, but that I was me with an original copy of my ID. Like …hmm right…I don’t think so.
