Found in a post office in New York
The evelyn looks like she was painted by aliyahs reborn world. She is on youtube and has a website, i think she may be from Australia
But im not for sure
Oh its aliyahs playborn world sorry
I hope the person they belong to is found and or the artist is contacted. How does the post office lose the label? I had a package that was supposed to be delivered yesterday apparently take the scenic route so it will hopefully be delivered today.
Labels can come off if they get wet. I put a piece of clear packing tape over the address, starting on the bottom, all the way around the box. Even if the box gets damaged the address is more than likely still going to be on there. You just can’t put tape over the bar code.
I tape over the bar code every time.
I just make sure it is straight and see through packing tape
I will say I bought sticky paper to print labels at home… it barely sticks… so I tape it anyways. lol
I only said that because the post office told me i shouldn’t but I had been doing it before then without a problem.
I used to not. lol
But then I though what if the bar code gets wet?
I’m a little confused by the title of this post. Does the found refer to them being found in the post office, or has the artist and/or recipient been located?
I will reword it. I was meaning they were found by the post office
This is what I do, too.
I do tape over the bar code. The reason is, a few years back, I took a package in to the post office and I had taped the entire label except the bar code. The postal worker slapped a piece of tape over it. I said, “I thought we weren’t supposed to tape over the bar code.” He said, “It’s fine, as long as you are not obscuring the view of the code. They can scan it through the tape.” So, I’ve covered it ever since. Before I started putting tape over it, I also worried about it getting wet during transit and not being readable.
It’s awesome. They’re actually trying to find who they belong to instead of someone just taking them home and saying they’re lost forever.
I tape over my barcodes too.
I’m so glad they’ve figured it out. If I sent a baby out and it got lost, I’d be beside myself with stress.
Edited to add: it would be awful for the intended recipient to have them go missing as well.
My Fb is being crazy today but I just seen an update saying she located the artist and the dolls will be on their way to the correct location.
But now I cant find it to screen shot… I will add it here once I do
How nice of Laura to take the time and effort to find the rightful owner.
