Okay so I sealed the paint yesterday, but I put another coat over the prisma hair around 7pm tonight. From what I gather, the only reason to cure for 24-48 hours before varnishing is to let the paint itself cure longer. Is this true? And if so, is it okay to Matte varnish in the morning instead of waiting the 24-48 hours? I am in a bit of a hurry to get this doll finished as it’s a birthday gift for my friend. Thanks in advance! 
It’s best to let the paint cure 48 to 72 hours before varnishing so the paint can ‘cure’. The paint will cure under the varnish but it will slow the curing process down. I would wait.
