I don’t know what I should do. I don’t know if physically, I can handle the torso and I lost money on the belly plate…its hard to decide. Maybe Ill get a custom order for him and that will help me decide. Thank you for your help, sounds like the torso is popular but it would really be a challenge for me…not that that is a bad thing.

I have never painted the belly plate for this kit, but he sells like crazy anyway. Nobody seems to care about it. The only upgrade I made is a chunkier body, which probably wouldn’t work with that torso.
Wonder how much the torso will cost…

Strangely enough the price is higher for the belly plate and body than for the torso on Dollsgarden. Its 130 for the kit, body and plate but 111 for kit and torso…does the body go under the torso? I would assume so. I guess the reason is that there is no body included when you buy the torso but I also got the body from @RoseannsBoutique for my asleep Joseph. I don’t like Dollsgarden’s bodies anyway, they are those ugly brown ones.

I’m not a huge fan of belly plates and if I were making him for myself I wouldn’t use it. It makes for some cute pictures, though…those fat rolls.

Oh yeah, I agree. I managed a few cute ones :). I was thinking maybe I should just do one without torso or belly plate and maybe, if not before, someone will ask me for a custom with the torso. I just have to have him, he’s so cute and he was so easy to paint

I went to preorder another Joseph with torso and either they are not carrying the torso or one does not come with this kit? I don’t know but I sent them a message. Their site no longer has translation and I copied and pasted into my translator and at first thought that they did have it because it translated to “enclosed body” but that turned out to be a body with ties. Ill have to see what the deal is when they get back to me.
Could he possibly have a back and front plate?
Edit…I just read that he does not have a torso but a full back and belly plate. @kareninflorida you may want to let your customers know that it appears its not a torso but a front and back plate.

I solely like the kits because of how chunky they are. That’s basically it. I wish we would get more chunky baby sculpts in the future

The new Joseph belly/back plate is a torso minus the diaper area. If the baby is wearing a diaper, the body won’t show with the new torso. We will be adding pictures of the new torso soon.
