Our youngest child was almost 10 pounds at birth. By one year he was in a 3T, and that stretched around his belly! He is over 6 ft now, and is a big guy.
She was taking steps right at 8 months. By 8.5 months she was walking across the room. Now at 9 months she can pivot and turn and walk like a pro, only falling if the dog knocks her down.
How sweet. Our great grandson who turned 1 on January 9th, started walking around his birthday. He loves to go! Didn’t take him long to figure out how to trot, and now he can walk and dance at the same time! LOLOL He is so funny. He lives in CA, and I get to see him on videos our Grand daughter puts up.
My son’s dad walked at nine months.
But our son was very dependant on touching the couch and furniture to move around for many months.
He didn’t take steps without doing that untill after his first birthday. My neighbor friend lured him into walking to reach his birthday balloon, she insisted he not touch the couch or get down and crawl to it.
She must have done this for nearly an hour. He really wanted to get his balloon, but wasn’t confident about it. It was so funny to watch. I really wonder how much longer he would have done that had she not worked with him.
My daughter walked at the same age - I didn’t want her to, I wanted her to stay a baby as long as possible - she was my second and last baby
She’s so adorable!
