WIP baby sculpting

Definitely! I discovered my problem, my baby is a bit smaller and definitely less chubby than yours and it’s so hard to make those little fingers look right. I tried a newborn sized hand and it came out a lot better.

It’s harder when smaller I think !
I have tried a newborn head, it’s easier but take a lot of clay.

I get it…Im the same way

Finish, but a lot of little cracks. I don’t know what causes it.

I think @RebornsbyZebra might be right… Will this be vinyl or silicone?

I absolutely don’t know how to have a vinyl kit made . Maybe a silicon if I can afford it !

The best I could do with this guy. Need hair and eyebrows

Its looking better in real life.

Thank you all very much for your kind words and encouragement ! That helped me a lot !

Thank you !

He is getting hair but it’s not easy because of the texture. Looking chalky a bit too.

I am kind of proud !
For a first finished polymer clay baby, I think it’s not so bad

Could a polymer clay sculpt be used to make a silicone mold?

Yup! I can link a helpful video of the process if you’d like
