Most can use them. The way to make them fit is to heat the head as you would when you bake in between layers and while hot, add some polyfill into the open eye socket. Then push the eyes into the opening from the front. As the head cools the eyes are set.

But, you need to use at least one size bigger than the round eyes recommended.

Not always. I have used the size that was recommended and it worked. A size bigger looks better though.
