Awwwww!!! Poor little guy did have quite the rough entry into the world. In all the pictures where his eyes are open he seems to be saying “you have no idea what I’ve been through…”

The picture with the dog is just priceless, btw.

Thank you. LOL you made me laugh. I like that one too. That dog is just a puppy too!

Thank you. Even though he had a rough entry into to the world he was very calm and sweet. He is a very good natured baby.

Oh my gosh!!! Did they suck him out by his face? Poor baby looks like he was in a fight. Glad to see him healing. He sure is a handsome little man.

He came out face first instead of head first and when babies are born that way it causes lots of bruising. He is doing much better now though. Might be coming to stay with Grandma!!! Yippeee!!!

Oh my goodness! Bless his heart, poor little guy! He really had a hard time coming into this world, didn’t he?

I wish him all the best for a long, happy, prosperous life. He sure is a beautiful little guy! Congratulations!!!

Poor baby and poor mommy. That had to have hurt.

Thank you ladies and yes it hurt her really bad. I cried and I wanted to kill the doctors. My midwife would have done things much different. Would have been alot easier with her. I personally hate hospital births. I would rather have a midwife any day!

I am with you 100% as far as midwives go! My first baby was delivered by an OBGYN, and he was vacuumed out because the doc was in a huge hurry. He was also super C-section happy…he must have suggested that at least 5 times while I was in labor. My last two were both delivered with a midwife, and it was a wonderful experience. I can’t believe those pics are of the same baby. Bless his little heart for having such a rough time! He sure is handsome! CONGRATS again!

Thank you. I had a midwife with my second child and it was the easiest of all my babies. If I were to have another baby I would go with a midwife for sure.

Lori I just showed Weston’s pictures to my daughter. She and her husband have been on fertility treatments for a few years now with no success. She just cried when she saw poor little Weston with his swollen lips and bruised face. But she felt much better when she scrolled down to the picture with the puppy. That one stole her heart since she loves dogs and wants a baby so bad. Thanks for the updated pictures. He’s so precious. I wish I could hold him.

I am glad this story has a happy ending, because that is one awful thing they did to that Baby! You say he was born head first, and that’s why is looks that way— well, help me out here-- aren’t babies SUPPOSED to be born head first??? I think I would take that picture to an attorney.

He came FACE first!! My daughter’s first child was born that way and she was in extreme back pain and they just thought she was a wimp until they saw that little face. And this was at Mayo!! She wanted a midwife but seemed to have her babies on week-ends. They heal very quickly but Mom might just say NO MORE!!!

Thank you everyone. Yes most babies are born head first but Weston was born face first not head first. That’s what caused all the swelling and bruising. He is doing much better now. Foxmom I hope your daughter has success soon. Even though Weston was a rough birth it is very much worth it when you get to hold them in your arms!
