Varnish cracking? Please help! Dream doll

So I got the opportunity to get my dream doll, but when I recieved her she had vsrnish cracking in her creases. I actually thought it was painted dry skin at first.
As about two weeks when by the cracks have just gotten worse! Any ideas on how to fix?

Things I have tried
Baking more
Varnishing over
She’s a gorgeous doll with beautiful rooted alpaca hair and I fear she’s hopeless. Makes me cry

Have you contacted her artist yet? That would be the first thing I would do.

I got her secondhand. I’m not even sure who the artist is

Do you know what she was painted with originally? I’m not sure if it’s fixable or not, I’m sure others here will have some suggestions for you though.

Poor baby - looks like she has eczema. Hope you can get her fixed.

I’m not sure, to be honest.

There is someone I know that will know what to do… @jeanhai !!! Message her, she will know. She’s like yoda when it comes to fixing problems!

Looks like when I use powders and it’s not blended well enough into the vinyl. Usually just happens in my creases if it happens which is a pain enough! But if she was also blushed with powders and they didn’t blend them sufficiently before varnishing then that might be part of the problem.

Really? That could be powders??? Yikes!
