I’m only talking about the inside. I shade the outside with no problems.
I shade the inside of the nose with every layer on the head. I either add blue or my shading color…sometimes red, as I am working the washes. I use a tiny mop brush to absorb the pooling, just like on creases.

I’m almost done with her and have made quite the mess (literally) with the inside of her nose…it looks very dirty, even though I have been shading the inside. To make matters worse I tried to clean the inside with acetone and a very pointy cotton tip, well you know the rest. Some dirty is still there and some shading I wanted to stay is gone. Please help.
I flatten the end of a toothpick to paint inside the nose. The color depends on the shade of the baby. Once you gloss the inside of the nose it should look better. Hope that helps a little.
I do a purple base with thinning medium. then tint with layers after that
