Never expected to love a kit this much!

I have seen this kit around for all the four years I’ve known about reborns and was never interested in her, until spring this year lol. Before that I always looked right past her but one day something just clicked and I was like, “O. M. G. Must. Have.” :sweat_smile:

Just the other day I managed to bring this kit home, finally, and I fell even more in love with the blank kit! So tiny and perfect!

So now my dream babies are finally home! But Serah Stoete (yes, that’s the kit!) is my favorite out of the other kits/babies I have right now, Presley Awake and Jayden Scholl. I’m enjoying her unpainted and assembled for now lol. But now I’m at my baby limit for sure. Even three for me is a bit overwhelming. :slight_smile:

I know the feeling.LOL There’s been several kits I use to not care much for then next thing I know I have to have it…I guess it’s a" reborn thing" :wink:

Yep!! That’s how I am almost all the time. Except I have this thing where when kits first come out, I seem always to go, “Eh.” It’s months later when they’ve completely sold out and are selling at inflated prices when I fall in love. Thank god Serah is open edition lol.

One of my Gotta have babies was Polly. She’s not sold out yet,but when I wanted to buy the kit & seen her on sale (I can’t remember the site she was on sale now). She was 69.99,I wanted to get her,but the next day she was sold out on that site anyway. Go figure. :cry: To make a long story short I found her on Ebay already done for 125.00 shipped by a lady that was downsizing her collection. She’s very well done,I don’t know who made her,but I love how they done her.She was a belated B-day/Mothers Day gift for me :heart:

She cute and for only $125 shipped, I’d say you got bargain, I just finished a Polly recently and I love her to bits. One day I’ll post pictures. It’s always so disappointing for me cause I have a not so great camera.

The price was so surprising I had to look at her feedback & other dolls for sale to make sure I wouldn’t get ripped off,but I got very lucky. I’d love to see your Polly,I’ll bet she’s a cutie.

The first Serah’s hair was painted by Jennifer in 2012. The second by me in 2013. It was one of my first attempts at painted hair. Sadly, I haven’t gotten much better. Actually, I think I’ve gotten worse…lol. Just don’t seem to have the patience for it. Will be working with a new tutorial soon. Praying to the hair painting gods to help me out. :grinning:
