Made my first gown!

so i found a seller on ebay who makes beautiful shabby gowns but wants $80. per gown so i decided to give it a try myself i by far am not a professional but i gave it my best shot it cost about $10 to make

The dress is adorable…the skirt is fuller than the one you made but you did a good job… I LOVE the hats that she has in some of the photos… so cute…

You did great especially for a first try. That’s always the scary part, getting all the stuff and hoping you don’t mess up! LOL!! I don’t mind the sewing when I can sit up…it’s the dyeing that scares me! I’ll have to check out her site on ebay…$80 is a lot. I wouldn’t pay that for me or the grandbaby… maybe one of the girls including Lindsey, the baby’s mommy! They at least won’t outgrow it!

so the second gown is in progress (my mother is sewing this time) she showed me some tricks that i can use the next time i make a gown hers came out much fuller

I’m stealing this “onesie dress” idea. What a great way to cheaply and beautifully dress a doll!
