Here is my Kaya as a boy. I haven’t been at this too long and I don’t have a very good camera so it’s hard to see details but they are there.

VERY nice on both dolls. I know what you mean about the camera not showing the details. The same happens to me.

All of the babies you have posted look very nice. You are really going to have to take close ups of the rooting though if you want us to see it and comment!
I will try taking closer pictures of the hair but if I get too close my camera just blurs it. I’ll try though.
