Hair questions

Looking at some ebay auctions, some mention that the hair has been directionally rooted - what does that mean?

Also, I use really nice mohair but it never looks as soft and silky once its rooted as a lot of pictures that I’ve seen. Any tips?

Thanks so much.

Mary

Directionally rooted means rooted following a natural growth pattern. Also, if you take some mohair and gently run your thumb and finger up the strands and back down you should be able to tell a difference as far as the smoothness. You want to root the hair with it the cuticle down so it will feel smooth. You can feel the difference if you feel your own hair, too. Rooting with the cuticle down will help tone down frizzies and tangles. I hope this made sense and will be of some help!
