I’m trying to get grant to sit up by himself. I put glass beads in the butt. Then stuffed body with polyfil, then small glass bead sack, then more polyfil and a glass bead sack on top. What do I need to do, so he can sit up on his on, without falling over?
Armature or a pool noodle.

I didn’t do any extra just weighted him like any other dolls l made like 3 of them and all of them could seat

Is his head weighted heavy? That might be tipping him over

I’ll have to check it. I had to fill it more because it was too floppy.

Make sure to stuff the chest and around the neck area heavy.

I put a kitchen paper roll tube inside my sitting Tibby. But she’s not yet weighted or even painted 
. I just wanted to see her assembled.

1 1/2 inch foam pipe insulation works really well. You can buy it at the hardware store. It looks like a skinny swim/pool noodle. Cuts to fit with scissors.
