Hi there! I’ve heard of veining with prismacolor pencils. I bought some in a few different blue colors. I tried it on the vinyl but the pencil wouldn’t show up. I use air dry paints and the first step I do is always prime the kit after washing and drying the kit of course. Is there anyway to get it to stick? I use the waterborne clear base primer from Hunnybuns.

I never had succes with Prismacolor for vein, but pastel pencils work like a charm and you can easily blend the sides so it looks natural. Prisma look too much like pencil lines to me. But it you want to use it, it’s best to varnish before or use a sealant to give grip to the pencil.
