I found this sweet cradle this morning for $25!
However, I’m not sure what this metal bar is for. Is it for a canopy?

I found one of these cradles on FB market place a few years ago, but it didn’t have the canopy device on it. That’s nice yours has that. It makes a really pretty setting with a canopy.

I had the same one for my children, during the 90’s but it wasn’t new so could have been 70’s 80’s I did have to buy the canopy set for it though and I’m pretty sure I still have the set in my attic, it’s broidary anglaise like the picture below, if it’s still there you are welcome to it for free if you want to pay the shipping from the UK x

Someone has had one of these for sale on market place by me for $15. I keep telling myself that I don’t have room, but seeing how beautiful yours is, I might just get it! I love that it has the bar to add more decorative details for pics!
