Has anybody tried the body seconds? Are the flaws on the outside or the inside? Thanks
According to the description from BB, one problem is cracked discs for the joints on the seconds. They say nothing shows from the outside, and it should be usable. I might only use them for the ones I would keep, knowing they would be handled gently, but I would rather buy a first quality body, or make one for anything I would sell. I wouldn’t want to risk any internal breakage.
Watch out for the brittle ties, they break as you are tightening them.
I’ve had that even with firsts and had to buy a supply of ties. They were snapping before you could even engage them.
