Any success stories, removing smoke smell?

I think we have all encountered it from time to time. It has been discussed on forum many times, but I am not sure of successes removing smoke smell. If you have had complete success, please share with us how you did it.

I soaked mine in frebreeze

Empty plastic tote, take baby apart and lay separate in the tote with cut up apples (NOT touching baby) and backing soda. Cover with lid, wait 72 hours and put baby back together!

I normally do it without the apples but a older lady that used to live a few doors down suggested the apples, and it worked great, even leaves a faint sweet apple smell but there was no more smoke! Done this to remove a kerosene smell as well!
